Green Chili Wine

I’ve seen this wine for sale in liquor stores around southern New Mexico, but due to an unspoken rule about never paying more than $7 for a bottle of wine I always passed it up.
Today I decided to cough up the extra 3 bucks and check it out.
With a tint that would make a wine purist tremble with disgust, it tasted exactly like green Kool-aid spiked with a smoky, spicy chili flavor. Not quite as intense as Cave Creek Chili Beer, which contains an entire jalapeño pepper in every bottle, but interesting nonetheless.
